We are on the last lap of sheduling. The course concept is finished by Jens, the forrest is "still standing", so we hope, that Kyrill doesn't come back again to Köthnitz (remember: last time a strong storm in spring toppled over many trees in Karolinenfield). For your tactics we published the course data now:

Überarbeitung Karte abgeschlossen

Die Überarbeitung der Karte ist abgeschlossen. Das Laufgelände hat eine 
sehr abwechslungsreiche 
Belaufbarkeit. Man wird an mehreren Stellen Reste von Forstarbeiten und im nördliche Bereich (lange Bahnen) Brombeerflächen finden, die lange Laufkleidung erforderlich machen. Insgesamt ist der gesamte Wald recht flach, so dass auch die LD Bahnen nur knapp über 150 
Höhenmeter haben. Die höchste Erhebung ist mit 505 m der Wolchenberg (WKZ 460m), der der Karte auch den Namen gibt. Markant sind relativ viele Reste von ehemaligen Teichanlagen, die zur Zeit noch sehr schwer passierbar sind.
Registration lists online, new pictures of competition centre

Is is January now and some particpants have already registered. Besides that we have been busy with signing contracts, getting permissions and we even did a trial run with the new map today. All members of the USV Jena met in Köthnitz this morning to inspect the town and the future competition centre and to test the new map that we had been working on. Everyone was enthusiatic and satisfied with the running area and we are glad to provide such a good map for this year`s competition. Unter Photos you can find some new pictures of the forest and the competition centre.
Since we have already received some registrations for both the 24h and 12h relay, we now provide Registration lists that will be updated frequently.

Behind the little lake you can see the camping ground. In the woods right of the camping ground the "Waldbühne Köthnitz" is located, where the competition centre will take place. And lets have a short look at the forest now:
