We’d like to inform you, that we will not provide SPORTident Air+ during the 24-hour-orienteering. Contactless punching is not supported in the competition. Our SI-stations are working in the normal mode, therefore you must punch physically by inserting your SI-card into the SI-station at every control (including the finish). The reason for this decision is, that we cannot guarantee that the batteries in the SI-stations will last 24 hours in the AIR+ mode.
Regarding the new rules we’d like to point out, what characterizes the restructured arrangement of the courses. Our ultimate goal is still to provide you an exciting and unforgettable competition. In the new arrangement you will run the former final courses, now called “theme course”, at the beginning. Hence the teams now have the tactical mission to organize their running order in a clever way. No team will be disadvantaged, because all have to run the same theme courses. Let’s give it a try. The 24-hour-orienteering relay remains an O-event that is organized by us with great meticulousness and a lot of heart and soul.
